Production Capacity Expansion
The expansion of the ATCC plant at the Sabiñánigo factory has increased production capacity by 6,000 tons per year, bringing the total to 28,000 tons annually. This expansion required an investment of 14 million euros.
Market Demand and Export
ATCC, used for making swimming pool water treatment tablets, is a product in high demand. In 2019, 57% of ATCC sales were exported, highlighting its significant market presence.
Operational Efficiency
The increased production volume allows for better optimization of the Sabiñánigo chlorine and soda production plant, which was inaugurated in 2018. These chemicals are essential raw materials for ATCC production.
Industrial Modernization Plan
This plant expansion is a key component of the Industrial Modernization Plan and expansion of productive capacity (Act Plan) for 2016-2020, with a total investment of approximately 100 million euros. The project began in 2018 and reached its full operational capacity by the end of 2019.
