Emission Reductions

Between 2020 and 2024, Ercros achieved a 38% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, both direct and indirect from energy consumption. The total emissions index, which includes air and water emissions and waste generation, decreased by 9%.

Logistics and Circular Economy

In 2024, logistics measures aimed at circular economy and decarbonization helped avoid 8,580 tonnes of CO2 emissions, marking a 59% increase over 2023.

Occupational Safety

The general accident frequency index, covering accidents with and without sick leave for both internal and external personnel, fell by 22% in 2024 compared to 2023. The index for accidents involving own personnel decreased by 8.5%.

Sustainability Ratings

In 2024, Ercros maintained its EcoVadis Platinum seal for the fifth consecutive year, scoring 87 out of 100. It also completed the Carbon Disclosure Project questionnaire, earning a "B" rating. Additionally, the company improved its ESG Rating from the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts, scoring 86 out of 100, up from 80 in 2023.

Certification and Standards

Ercros production centers operate under a certified sustainability management system, accredited by ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Furthermore, 98% of the company's total energy consumption is covered by ISO 50001 certification.
