Moeve is a Spain-based energy company focused on renewable fuels and gases for transport and industry. It produces and supplies hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) renewable diesel and is developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) capacity using second-generation feedstocks such as used cooking oils. The company is building a large HVO/SAF complex in Palos de la Frontera (southern Spain) and has started supplying HVO at the airside of Barcelona–El Prat Airport for ground operations. Its drop-in fuels are compatible with existing engines, storage, and distribution infrastructure.
Moeve is also expanding biomethane projects in Spain by converting agricultural and livestock residues via anaerobic digestion and upgrading, targeting up to 1 TWh per year to substitute natural gas in industrial use and to support green hydrogen production. The company participates in industry collaboration through the Global Renewables Alliance, contributing to policy and market development for renewables. Moeve’s activities span waste-to-fuel pathways and large-scale deployment of low‑carbon molecules relevant to the chemical and energy value chains.
