The company has divested nearly 70% of its upstream oil and gas assets since 2022.
Ownership is primarily held by Cepsa Holding, LLC (61.36%), controlled by Mubadala Investment Company of Abu Dhabi, and Matador Bidco S.À R.L. (38.41%), controlled by The Carlyle Group. This positions Moeve as a key player in Spain’s energy sector and Europe’s broader transition to low-carbon energy and sustainable mobility.
