Expansion of Hydrogen Production
Linde is expanding its largest gas production complex in Leuna by adding a new hydrogen liquefier. This addition is set to double the existing production capacities for liquid hydrogen (LH2) and is scheduled to become operational in 2021.
Addressing Growing Demand
The new plant is a response to the increasing demand for hydrogen across Europe. The expansion aims to enhance delivery readiness, production capacity, and product purity for customers.
Future Investment
With the rising use of hydrogen as a fuel for road and rail transport, the new hydrogen liquefier represents a significant investment in the future of sustainable energy solutions.
