At a glance

BorsodChem is doubling the capacity of its TDI crystallization unit in Hungary to meet global demand for T65 and T100 grades. Construction has started and the unit is expected to be operational in Q3 2018. These grades are essential in the polyurethane industry for various applications.

Responding to the growth in global demand for T65 and T100 toluene di-isocyanates (TDI) grades, BorsodChem will double the capacity of its TDI crystallization unit at its Kazincbarcika plant in Hungary. This capacity expansion will allow BorsodChem to meet the strong demand growth and continue to provide stable supply in the coming years.
Construction of the new unit has begun at the plant. Start-up is expected in Q3 2018.
T65 and T100 grades are largely used in the polyurethane industry for flexible foam, coatings and adhesive production.
