SOL invests € 20 million into Industriepark Höchst.

Italian industrial-gas company SOL S.p.A. has opened its new facility for liquefying industrial gases at Industriepark Höchst in Germany. The €20m ($23.5m) plant, which has been under construction for two years, has already started liquefying oxygen and nitrogen. The facility will supply gases to the healthcare and welding engineering sectors. The plant will be operated and managed by Infraserv Höchst, which will also supply the plant with raw materials and maintain the infrastructure. SOL chose to set up its production site at Industriepark Höchst due to the excellent environment and infrastructure, according to Aldo Romario Fumagalli, SOL's chairman and managing director.
