The project aims to produce 1,250,000 tons of polyethylene annually using AlphaButol® technology, following successful past collaboration on refinery modernization.

The new plant in Bassens produces bio-based butadiene from ethanol, aiming to replace petrochemical sources and support sustainable synthetic elastomer production. The project has €80M investment and created 20 jobs.

The plant in Geleen will produce 100,000 tonnes of renewable ethylene annually using Atol® technology, starting in 2026. The project, costing over EUR 130 million, aims to enhance sustainable plastic production.

The €1.8M investment aims to develop a plant for renewable ethylene production from ethanol, targeting 100,000 tonnes annually by 2026, supporting defossilisation and sustainability goals.
