Project Overview

INEOS Styrolution plans to build a demonstration plant in Antwerp, Belgium, to produce ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic from recycled feedstock. This initiative is part of the "ABSolutely Circular" project, which aims to advance the recycling of styrenics.

EU LIFE Programme Support

The project is supported by the EU LIFE programme, the European Union's funding instrument for environmental and climate action. The current funding period from 2014 to 2020 has a budget of €3.4 billion.

Collaboration with Indaver

INEOS Styrolution's plant will complement a demonstration unit planned by project partner Indaver, positioning Antwerp as a leading European center for styrenics recycling.
