Vinnolit Expands Paste-PVC Capacity in Burghausen

Capacity Expansion

Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG is set to enhance its global market leadership in Paste-PVC by expanding the capacity at its Burghausen plant. The expansion will increase the annual capacity from 50kt to 71kt. This project includes the construction of an additional spray dryer and the elimination of bottlenecks in the polymerisation process.

Investment Details

The total investment for the expansions in Burghausen and Knapsack amounts to approximately €30 million. This investment will not only boost Paste-PVC production but also increase the capacity of essential raw materials such as chlorine, EDC, and VCM at the Knapsack site.

The expansion is driven by the dynamic growth of the Paste-PVC markets in Eastern Europe and overseas. Vinnolit aims to keep pace with this growth and meet the increasing demand in these regions.
