The new plant in Murcia produces 130,000 tons of Lexan resin annually, with 90% for export. It employs 250 people and is part of a 1.7 billion euro investment in the region. Future investments are planned.

The contract includes engineering, procurement, and construction of a distillate hydrocracking unit and a hydrogen production unit, aiming to reduce heavy fuel oil output and minimize environmental impact.
