GETEC PARK.EMMEN (GETEC Park Emmen) is a multi-tenant industrial park in Emmen, the Netherlands, serving companies in the chemical, polymer and fiber value chains. The site provides integrated infrastructure and site services, including energy and utilities (electricity, steam, gas and water), wastewater treatment, logistics, engineering support, and laboratory services for resident companies.
As part of the GETEC Group, the park operates shared facilities such as power and steam generation and central site management to support efficient, reliable operations for its tenants. The location functions as a regional hub for materials production and processing, accommodating both manufacturing and related technical services.
In partnership with Looop, pilot will convert dairy by‑products (third validated sidestream after sewage sludge and paper process water) into PHA biomass and polymers, aiming for Q1 2026.
GETEC will acquire Emmtec Industry Park, ensuring employment for 200 staff. The deal, pending antitrust approval, aims to enhance GETEC's European market presence and competencies in the chemical industry.
