Production Resumes at Skive Plant
After a successful upgrade and commissioning, the first line of the Skive plant is back in production. The plant is feeding plastics into the production line at high load, maintaining the target for Proof-of-Concept (PoC) around year-end.
Progress and Equipment Performance
The Skive plant is progressing according to plan, as communicated in the third quarter report and the update on 8th December 2021. The newly installed equipment is performing as expected, with several days of production at a load corresponding to achieving PoC. Minor repair work on the shredder, which transforms incoming plastic feedstock into a suitable format for the reactors, is currently underway, with production set to resume shortly.
Production Goals and CAPEX
All four lines in Skive are identical, with PoC linked to running one line with commercial plastics at high load and high availability for a prolonged duration, producing a liquid acceptable for the offtake partner. The 2022 target for Skive is processing 12,000 tonnes of plastics, ending the year at a 20,000 tonnes per year run rate. The forecasted CAPEX remains unchanged at NOK 610 million.
