Petrobras and Seatrium baptize P-80 and P-82 at Tuas shipyard
- Platforms P-80 and P-82 will operate in the Búzios pre-salt field in the Santos Basin.

Ceremony and schedule
Petrobras and Seatrium held a baptism ceremony and sailaway for the maritime platforms P-80 and P-82 at the Tuas Boulevard Yard shipyard in Singapore. The units are in the final phase of module integration and will sail to Brazil in the coming weeks, with P-80 scheduled to depart first. Start of production for both platforms is scheduled for 2027.
Production capacity and operations
Both platforms will operate in the Búzios field in the Santos Basin. Each unit has a production capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil per day and can process 12 million cubic meters of gas per day. The projects will use technologies and digital solutions intended to improve operational and energy efficiency. Petrobras said the two units are part of a new cycle of six high‑capacity production units, following the FPSO Almirante Tamandaré, and expects production above 225,000 barrels per day across the sequence.
Construction and local content
The platforms were contracted under an EPC model covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. Process modules for P-80 were manufactured at Seatrium BrasFELS in Angra dos Reis and modules for P-82 at Seatrium Aracruz in Espírito Santo, contributing to workforce qualification and employment in Brazil. Additional module construction took place in China, Singapore and Indonesia, with modules transported to Singapore for final integration before departure to Brazil.
