Established in 2014 as a carve-out from methanol producer BioMCN, DGR boasts a refining capacity of over 200,000 mt, making it the largest crude glycerine refining unit at a single location globally. The plant is situated within the Delfzijl Chemical Park, offering easy logistical access to major European markets via road, rail, barge, and sea.

Europe accounts for approximately 41% of the world’s crude glycerine supply and consumes 28% of the world’s refined glycerine.
