Eastman Chemical Company has completed the expansion of its hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins facility in Middelburg, the Netherlands. This marks the third expansion of its Regalite(TM) hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins, doubling the site's capacity since 2006.

The expansion is a response to the growing global demand for hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins. Eastman has also increased capacity at its Longview, Texas, and Jefferson, Pennsylvania sites, demonstrating its commitment to meeting market needs and supporting customer growth in developing regions.

Production Capabilities

The Middelburg plant is one of the largest tackifier resin facilities globally, producing a variety of hydrocarbon resins, rosin resins, and dispersions. Regalite(TM) hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins, produced since 1985, are widely used in hot melt adhesives, polymer compounds, and plastic modifications due to their versatility and compatibility with a range of polymers.
