EIT InnoEnergy, a leader in sustainable energy innovation, has announced Boryszew Group S.A. as its newest shareholder. This development was revealed at EIT InnoEnergy’s annual event, The Business Booster, marking the completion of its private placement and top-up round.

Strategic Goals

The partnership aims to support the European Union’s Net Zero Industry Act, which seeks to supply at least 40% of clean technology demand domestically. Boryszew Group, with its strong presence in the automotive and metals sectors, will enhance InnoEnergy’s access to key sectors for Europe’s clean reindustrialisation.

Investment Alignment

Boryszew’s investment is part of its Sustainability Horizon 2030 Strategy, focusing on decarbonising production. The collaboration with InnoEnergy will leverage synergies in energy technologies, circular economy, and automotive sectors, aligning with Boryszew’s growth strategy.

Use of Proceeds

Funds from EIT InnoEnergy’s private placement will be used to capture new deal flow, support over 200 portfolio companies, and accelerate the launch of new industrial champions.
