Q2 2025: Strong chemical results, low leverage, ongoing Borouge integration, and green hydrogen projects. Energy segment hit by lower oil prices; Fuels & Feedstock affected by shutdowns.

The new unit will produce SAF and HVO, cutting CO₂ emissions by 65%. A €750M investment includes green hydrogen facilities, supporting energy transition and sustainable mobility.

Investing EUR 750 million, a new plant will produce 250 kt/year of sustainable fuels by 2028, including SAF, HVO, and green hydrogen, reducing CO2 emissions by at least 70%.

The project will build a 20 MW hydrogen production capacity at the Petrobrazi refinery, powered by renewable energy, reducing CO2 emissions by 70%. Completion is expected in 2025.

The six-week turnaround involves 6,000 workers, 25 contractors, and €80M for modernization and safety checks on equipment, ensuring continuous fuel supply.

The new unit will double aromatic product capacity to 100 kt/year by 2026, meeting modern BAT standards. It will produce gasoline with <1% benzene and more toluene for various industrial uses.
