Neste Jacobs has been selected to provide EPCM services for SunPine's new Tall Oil Rosin production facility in Piteå, Sweden. The facility is scheduled to be operational in the second half of 2015 and will supply rosin to the Lawter facility in Kallo, Belgium.
Production Details
Once operational, the new plant will enable SunPine to produce three distinct products: raw tall diesel, which serves as a feedstock for renewable diesel production; rosin, a raw material used in various derivatives including printing ink and adhesives; and tall oil pitch, an energy product utilized in the paper industry.
