Plant Inauguration
Thermphos will inaugurate its new sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) granule plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. The Queen's Commissioner in Zeeland, WT van Gelder, will officially open the new facility.
Investment and Construction
The construction of the plant, which required an investment of €14 million, began in early 2001 and was completed in January this year. The annual production capacity of the plant has not been disclosed.
Production Focus
The output of the new plant will be used in the production of specialty detergents for dishwashing machines.
