Enilive is Eni S.p.A.’s unit focused on biorefining and mobility fuels. The company develops and operates biorefineries in Italy, including the sites at Venice (Porto Marghera) and Gela, and supplies renewable fuels and intermediates for road and aviation markets through Eni’s logistics and retail network.
Enilive produces hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) diesel, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), bio-naphtha, and bio-LPG from waste oils, residues, and other advanced lipid feedstocks. Its plants use Eni’s Ecofining technology, co-developed with Honeywell UOP, to manufacture drop-in fuels compatible with existing engines and infrastructure. Activities span feedstock pre-treatment, biorefining, and distribution, aligning with European sustainability criteria for transport fuels.
