Saipem awarded ~€800m Eni contracts for Ivory Coast offshore and Venice biorefinery

Overview
Saipem has been awarded two contracts by Eni and its units worth approximately 800 million euro in total, covering an offshore development in Ivory Coast and an onshore biorefinery package in Italy.
Baleine Phase 3 (Ivory Coast)
The Baleine Phase 3 project is the third development phase of the Baleine field offshore Ivory Coast in water depths up to 1,300 metres. Saipem's scope includes engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation of about 50 km of rigid pipelines and associated subsea structures, transportation and installation of flexible risers and jumpers, subsea production systems, a 3-km flexible gas export flowline and 22 km of subsea umbilical. The activities are expected to last approximately three years and will involve the construction vessels FDS and Shen Da.
Venice biorefinery — deoxygenation unit
Enilive awarded Saipem an engineering, procurement and construction contract to build a new deoxygenation unit at the Porto Marghera biorefinery in Venice. The unit is designed to process 70 tonnes per hour of biogenic feedstocks to increase HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) production capacity.
Strategic context
The award is presented as part of the broader collaboration between Eni and Saipem in biorefining and follows the EPC contract announced in June 2025 for biojet production at the Venice biorefinery.
