Wison New Energies signs EPCIC contract for Baleine Phase 3 FPSO

Wison New Energies has signed the EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) contract with Eni and Altera Infrastructure for the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility for the Baleine Phase 3 offshore oil and gas field in Côte d’Ivoire. Altera Infrastructure is the owner and operator of the FPSO and was previously involved as contractor for redeployment of the FPSO and FSO installed in Baleine Phase 2.

Scope

The contract continues Wison’s involvement from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) through to EPCIC execution, demonstrating its end-to-end delivery capabilities for global offshore oil and gas development and marking a milestone for Wison in the FPSO sector.

FPSO specifications

The FPSO is designed to operate at water depths of approximately 800–1,200 meters and to process up to 90,000 barrels of oil per day, 80,000 barrels of produced water per day, and 160 MMSCFD of natural gas. The unit will measure approximately 308 meters in length, 57 meters in breadth and 29.8 meters in depth, with a design life of no less than 20 years.
