The ammonia will be used to power emission-free shipping fuels and decarbonized food solutions. Yara aims to fully electrify its ammonia plant in Porsgrunn, Norway, which could cut 800,000 tonnes of CO2 per annum. The company is seeking partners and government support for the project, which could be operational by 2026. Yara also plans to transform its commercial business models and sales channels to target revenue growth from new online services and carbon market digital services.
