The UK Government and KP Chemical support a new 200 ktpa PET plant at Wilton, operational by Q3/4 2013, enhancing capacity and product range, including recycled PET resins. Local MP endorses the project.

Equipolymers Begins PET Production in Germany
The new 175,000 tonne/year PET plant in Schkopau, Germany, started on schedule, increasing total site output to 335,000 tonnes/year, despite claims of a PTA shortage in Europe.
