Project Overview
Air Products has announced the construction of a second hydrogen liquefaction plant in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This new facility will complement the existing liquid hydrogen plant in Botlek, the Netherlands.
Operational Timeline
The new plant is scheduled to be operational by 2025. Once completed, it will significantly increase Europe's liquid hydrogen production capacity.
Capacity and Usage
The plant will double the current liquid hydrogen capacity in Europe. The produced liquid hydrogen will cater to the growing demands of high-tech industries and the mobility market.
