Additional Investments

An additional EUR 2.5 million will be invested this year in environmental protection and capacity expansion for mtm compact, the sister company located in Fürstenwalde.

Strategic Importance

Borealis fully acquired mtm plastics GmbH and mtm compact GmbH in July 2016. This investment is a key step in realizing Borealis' growth ambitions in the circular economy, ensuring minimal downtime while maintaining existing facilities and business operations.
