AMG Lithium has chosen EPC Group to handle the detail engineering for its lithium hydroxide upgrading plant in Bitterfeld. The contract includes specific environmental targets and occupational safety measures, such as wastewater avoidance, product exposure avoidance, and CO2 reduction. AMG Lithium has now finally entrusted EPC Group with the detail engineering for the battery grade lithium hydroxide upgrading plant in Bitterfeld. The contract was signed by the managing directors on March 29, 2022.
In addition to the usual financial, time and quality targets, the planning also focuses on specific environmental targets and occupational safety: extensive avoidance of wastewater, avoidance of product exposure and CO2 reduction through energy-efficient processes. Furthermore, both companies also intend to cooperate with each other on future projects in Bitterfeld and thus leverage synergies.

"Also, in the close cooperation of the last weeks and months, we have noticed that we agree very well in the definition of goals and that the two teams are focused on their implementation," both managing directors emphasize.
