Funding and investors
ROSI secured over €20 million combining a Series B round with French and European grants; participants include InnoEnergy, CMA CGM, the European Innovation Council, G3T, Finadvice and Swiss and Polish family offices.
New Spanish plant
Under the INSPIRE-PV project supported by CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) and the European Innovation Fund, ROSI will deploy a fully standardised, integrated and highly automated recycling line in Teruel, Spain, with a processing capacity of 10,000 tonnes per year to produce high‑purity silver, silicon, copper, aluminium and glass.
Operational leadership and partnerships
Thierry Galvez was appointed Production Site Director of ROSI Alpes, taking up the role on 1 April 2026; ROSI Alpes has been selected by eco‑organisation Soren to recycle solar panels collected in France.
Strategic impact
The project aims to industrialise high‑value photovoltaic recycling at scale in Europe, supply strategic raw materials from end‑of‑life panels, reduce reliance on imported critical materials and bolster the European photovoltaic supply chain.
