About Soren

ROSI (legal name: ROSI SAS) is a French company founded in 2017 in Grenoble, specializing in the circular economy for the photovoltaic (PV) industry. It develops innovative, low-impact processes to recycle end-of-life solar panels and manufacturing scrap, recovering high-purity materials including silicon, silver, copper, aluminium, and glass.

ROSI operates the ROSI Alpes facility in France, inaugurated in 2023 as the world's first industrial-scale line for high-purity PV material recovery. Selected by the French eco-organization Soren for recycling collected panels, ROSI has secured over €20 million in Series B funding and grants to expand across Europe, including new plants in Spain (10,000 tonnes/year capacity under the INSPIRE-PV project) and Germany.

Through partnerships with entities like SENS eRecycling (Switzerland) and Waste Experts (UK), ROSI supports Europe's PV supply chain by reducing reliance on imported critical raw materials and minimizing environmental impact.
