Route to market

Production model
Ren‑Gas produces e‑methane by combining renewable hydrogen with captured biogenic CO₂, yielding a product chemically equivalent to biomethane. The Tampere facility follows a sector‑coupled model integrating renewable electricity procurement, green hydrogen production, biogenic CO₂ capture, methanation and district heating to improve efficiency, reduce carbon intensity and lower production costs.
Distribution and scale
avanca Energy AG and its subsidiaries cover upstream sourcing, portfolio management, logistics, buffer stocks and last‑mile distribution. Alternoil operates 55 fuelling stations and over 120 dispensing points in Germany. The partnership secures long‑term supply for avanca’s renewable LNG portfolio and aims to scale commercial deliveries of e‑methane to heavy‑duty transport across Europe.
