Route to market
Renewable e‑methane from Tampere will be distributed through existing gas and LNG infrastructure to heavy‑duty truck operators, requiring no modifications to vehicles or fuelling stations. avanca Renewables AG will manage portfolio delivery across Europe while Alternoil will supply directly to German operators via its filling‑station network.
Production model
Ren‑Gas produces e‑methane by combining renewable hydrogen with captured biogenic CO₂, yielding a product chemically equivalent to biomethane. The Tampere facility follows a sector‑coupled model integrating renewable electricity procurement, green hydrogen production, biogenic CO₂ capture, methanation and district heating to improve efficiency, reduce carbon intensity and lower production costs.
Distribution and scale
avanca Energy AG and its subsidiaries cover upstream sourcing, portfolio management, logistics, buffer stocks and last‑mile distribution. Alternoil operates 55 fuelling stations and over 120 dispensing points in Germany.
