VolagHy Kuopio SPV Oy is a Finland-based special purpose vehicle established to develop VolagHy’s power-to-liquids project in Kuopio. The company focuses on producing renewable synthetic aviation fuel (eSAF) using green hydrogen and biogenic CO₂.
The planned facility targets about 50,000 tonnes of eSAF per year, with start-up envisioned in the early 2030s, supporting emerging cross-border supply chains for low-carbon fuels. The Kuopio project is part of VolagHy’s wider program to deploy multiple eSAF plants across the Nordic region, contributing to the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation.
