Hynetwork

Hynetwork is a subsidiary of Gasunie dedicated to developing, constructing, and operating the Netherlands’ national hydrogen transport network. The company is building an open-access backbone by repurposing existing natural gas pipelines and adding new dedicated infrastructure to link major industrial clusters, ports, storage facilities, and cross-border connections as part of the emerging European hydrogen network.

Its transmission services connect hydrogen producers and import terminals with large industrial users, including refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, fertilizer production, and other hard-to-abate sectors. By providing reliable, regulated transport capacity and interoperability, Hynetwork supports industrial decarbonisation, market development, and energy system integration across the Netherlands and into neighboring countries.
