The project will use CryocapTM technology to cut CO2 emissions by 1.1 million tons annually, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2030. The captured CO2 will be stored offshore via Antwerp@C CO2 Export Hub.

The partnership aims to fully decarbonize a cement plant in Obourg, Belgium, using CCUS technologies, renewable energy, and green hydrogen to capture and utilize 1.3 million metric tons of CO2 annually.
