Why we featured this project
BioBTX and Rain Carbon have formed a strategic collaboration to convert the circular aromatic oil from the Delfzijl plant into benzene, phthalic anhydride and other derivatives that meet fossil-based quality standards.
The partnership follows the July 2026 final investment decision for the 20,000 t/y plastic-waste feedstock facility.
Featured as project of the week on 30 September 2026. The record may have changed since; this is its current state. Subscribers see the full detail on all 2,368 projects.
