Deal overview
Plug Power signed a 280‑MW GenEco electrolyzer supply agreement with Arcadia eFuels for Project ENDOR and a strategic cooperation that positions Plug as the preferred electrolyzer supplier for more than 1 GW of Arcadia's e‑SAF projects in Europe and the Americas. The agreement follows three years of joint engineering; deliveries will begin after Arcadia issues notice to proceed.
Project ENDOR
ENDOR, at the Port of Vordingborg on Denmark's south coast, will run 280 MW of electrolyzers on renewable grid power and produce roughly 110 tons of renewable hydrogen per day. Arcadia plans to combine that hydrogen with captured CO2 to make jet fuel compatible with standard aircraft. Project ENDOR is on the path to a final investment decision.
Pipeline and capacity
The cooperation covers four additional Arcadia projects representing more than 1 GW of potential electrolyzer capacity and grants Arcadia priority access to Plug's manufacturing capacity as projects advance. Plug is also executing multi‑gigawatt projects across Denmark, the U.K., Spain and Portugal, including a 100 MW GenEco installation at Galp's Sines refinery.
Market context
e‑SAF produced from renewable electricity and captured carbon is a compliance route under the EU's ReFuelEU Aviation mandate, which sets a rising share of sustainable aviation fuel and a sub‑target for synthetic fuels from 2030, making projects like ENDOR relevant for airline compliance and European fuel supply.
