Parties and scope
Perpetual Next has selected JPB Logistics as its preferred partner for storage, handling and outbound delivery at the Delfzijl biomethanol facility in Farmsum; the project is developed by DeltaNor B.V., a full subsidiary of Perpetual Next, responsible for the plant’s construction, financing, maintenance and operation.
Plant capacity
The facility is planned to produce 220,000 tonnes per year of biomethanol.
Storage and logistics concept
An MoU outlines intent to negotiate a definitive storage agreement with target tank capacity of 21,000–35,000 gross m³ depending on final configuration; the logistics concept foresees inbound pipeline supply, outbound barge movements via dedicated lines, and truck loading/unloading as backup.
Conditions
The proposed collaboration is conditional on Perpetual Next’s final investment decision, successful project execution and agreement on final commercial terms; JPB operates a tank terminal with jetty facilities in Farmsum that would support the planned logistics.
