As Africa's largest company, it has over 150 subsidiaries and employs nearly 200,000 people. The Algerian government is its sole owner. SONATRACH is advancing major infrastructure projects, including segments of the Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline, and pursuing international partnerships focused on energy transition initiatives such as green hydrogen.
