SONATRACH and Anton Oilfield Services Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing on 29 August 2026 during the visit to China by SONATRACH Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Nour Eddine DAOUDI, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation.

Scope

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to assess development prospects for unconventional resources and marginal deposits, evaluate enhanced oil recovery (EOR) solutions, and explore manufacturing of local completion tools and equipment for natural gas.

Collaboration focus

The cooperation promotes exchange of technical expertise, technology transfer and initiatives to enhance capacities in the oil & gas sector, notably for unconventional resources.
