SARIA SE & Co. KG is a Germany-based international group that recovers and refines animal by‑products and other organic residues into materials and ingredients for food, feed, pet food, pharmaceutical, and energy markets. Part of the RETHMANN Group, SARIA operates across Europe and beyond through brands such as Rendac, ReFood, Bioceval, Van Hessen, and ecoMotion.

For the chemical and energy sectors, SARIA supplies rendered animal fats and other bio-based feedstocks used in oleochemicals, soaps, lubricants, and as inputs for renewable fuels. Through ecoMotion, the company produces biodiesel (FAME) and related co-products such as crude glycerine. Its activities also include collection and processing of food waste for biogas, as well as provision of selected pharmaceutical-grade raw materials via Van Hessen. The group’s operations link waste collection, processing, and conversion, providing circular feedstock solutions to downstream chemical and bioenergy value chains.
