Petkim Petrokimya Holding A.Ş. is Turkey's leading integrated petrochemical company. Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Aliağa, İzmir, it operates 15 main production facilities with an annual gross capacity of approximately 3.6 million tons. The company produces olefins, polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, PVC, aromatics, and other petrochemical intermediates used in plastics, packaging, construction, automotive, textiles, and related sectors.
Majority-owned by SOCAR Turkey (approximately 51 percent), with the remainder publicly traded on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker PETKM, Petkim also operates a specialized chemical port. It participates in industry projects including feedstock optimization and energy efficiency initiatives under the Petkim Master Plan.
