Meeting overview
On 9 July 2026, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Carlo Corsi, Chief Executive Officer of Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. Both sides expressed satisfaction with their established partnership and emphasized the need to identify new areas for cooperation to expand mutually beneficial relations.
Areas of potential cooperation
The parties reviewed potential cooperation in applying highly flexible feedstock solutions in the petrochemical sector and discussed opportunities to enhance productivity and improve energy efficiency. They also exchanged views on possible participation by Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. in SOCAR’s international projects and on partnership opportunities in green energy and decarbonisation initiatives.

Within the framework of the meeting, SOCAR and Technip Energies Italy S.p.A. signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document envisages identifying potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Petkim Master Plan.
