Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited

About Gulf Energy

Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (Gulf Energy) is a Thai energy and infrastructure company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET: GULF). Headquartered in Bangkok, it is one of Thailand’s largest private power producers, developing, owning, and operating electricity generation assets across natural gas–fired independent and small power producer (IPP/SPP) projects and a growing portfolio of renewable energy.

The company supplies electricity (and, for SPPs, steam) to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and industrial customers in major industrial estates. Gulf Energy also invests in energy infrastructure, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and regasification capabilities and gas-to-power value chains. Its activities are relevant to the chemical sector through reliable power and steam services for industrial clusters and support for petrochemical hubs—such as those around Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor—via gas and LNG infrastructure and cogeneration capacity.
