Financial performance and resilience

In Q2 2026 GC reported Adjusted EBITDA of THB 26.932 billion (up 81% quarter-on-quarter) and net profit of THB 12.208 billion; for H1 2026 Adjusted EBITDA stood at THB 41.777 billion with net profit of THB 15.440 billion. Management cites the Integrated Value Chain and feedstock flexibility as core resilience elements.

Operational efficiency and feedstock strategy

GC is implementing Holistic Optimization across procurement, supply chain, production, sales and work processes and deploying the "Digital 3 Smarts" program (Smart Plant, Smart Sales & Marketing, Smart Work Process). Efficiency measures delivered over THB 7 billion in benefits in 2025; the 2026 target is an additional THB 4 billion. The US ethane import project remains on schedule for start-up in 2029.

Portfolio rebalancing and targets for 2026–2030

GC aims to shift its Commodity:Specialty mix from roughly 80:20 to 70:30 by 2030 and to secure an additional USD 300 million in annual EBITDA by 2030 through company-wide enhancement, asset monetization, capital management and long-term debt restructuring.

Partnerships, specialty and Green & Bio platforms

A feasibility study with SCGC on a potential olefins/polyolefins joint venture is expected to conclude toward end-Q3 2026. allnex is positioned as the Specialty platform, with SCA production expansion at Map Ta Phut and broader footprint growth in China and India. GC’s Green & Bio portfolio includes NatureWorks’ PLA facility, GGC, Emery Oleochemicals and ENVICCO as foundations for Bio Specialty development.

Under its MTP Transformation strategy, GC is elevating Map Ta Phut as a hub combining petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and Green & Bio to serve Asia‑Pacific industrial demand and connect domestic capabilities with global partners.
