SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited (SCGC) is the chemicals business of SCG (The Siam Cement Public Company Limited), based in Thailand. The company operates integrated petrochemical facilities, primarily at Map Ta Phut, producing olefins (ethylene and propylene) and a broad range of downstream polyolefins and chemical products used across packaging, automotive, consumer goods, agriculture, and infrastructure markets in Southeast Asia.
SCGC’s portfolio spans high-density and linear low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, specialty compounds, and performance materials, distributed through regional subsidiaries and joint ventures. The company invests in new capacity and regional growth projects, including the Long Son Petrochemicals complex in Vietnam, and supports product and process development through its polymer research capabilities, including Norner AS in Norway.
