The company sold its Sant Adriá de Besós site to Urbis and will build a new facility near Barcelona, aiming to enhance efficiency and market presence in Spain's decorative coatings sector.

The new plant in Skoghall produces 35,000 tons of ferric chlorides annually for water treatment and serves as a sales center. The site also manufactures chlorine, caustic soda, and other chemicals.

The Hengelo site in the Netherlands will increase salt production by 300,000-500,000 tons to meet electrolysis market demand, surpassing Delfzijl as the largest vacuum salt plant globally. Completion by 2004.

The new factory in Rosendahl boosts capacity by 50%, supporting growth in Europe. It produces specialized adhesives and leveling compounds, enhancing service to craftsmen seeking high-quality products.

Investing EUR 12M, the expansion will double production capacity, making the Cernobbio plant the largest for thermosetting powder coatings, enhancing supply to Eastern Europe and key markets.
