Thermphos, a Dutch phosphorous group, will open a new STPP granule plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. The Queen's Commissioner in Zeeland will officiate the opening. The plant, with a €14mil investment, was completed in January. Its output is used in specialty detergents for dishwashing machines.
Vlissingen, The Netherlands - Dutch headquartered phosphorous group Thermphos will inaugurate its new sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) granule plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
In a statement, the company said the Queen's Commissioner in Zeeland, WT van Gelder, will officially open the new plant.
Construction of the plant, which has an investment cost of € 14mil, began in early 2001 and was completed in January this year. Its annual capacity was not revealed.
The plant's output is used in specialty detergents for dishwashing machines.
