Sasol and the South African Football Association (SAFA) have renewed their sponsorship of the South African women's national football team, Banyana Banyana, for another four years, extending the partnership until 2029. This renewal continues a relationship that has lasted over 16 years, making Sasol the longest-standing sponsor of women's football in South Africa.

Achievements and Future Goals

Since 2009, Sasol's support has coincided with significant achievements for Banyana Banyana, including multiple COSAFA Cup titles, participation in two Olympic Games, their first FIFA Women's World Cup appearance in 2019, a historic knockout stage appearance at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, and the WAFCON championship title in 2022. Looking ahead, the team aims to qualify for the WAFCON 2026 in Morocco and the FIFA 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.
