Agreement
PETRONAS LNG Ltd. signed a 20-year time charter with MISC for five newbuild 174,000‑cbm LNG carriers; the agreement was signed by PLL CEO Ezran Mahadzir and MISC VP Hazrin Hasan.
Shipbuilding and schedule
Shipbuilding contracts between MISC and Hudong‑Zhonghua were concluded in January–February 2026; the vessels will be built in Shanghai with charter commencement and deliveries expected between 2029 and 2030.
