Agreement Overview

ORLEN and Naftogaz have signed an agreement to supply over 300 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine by 2026. The gas will be sourced from American LNG cargoes received by ORLEN.

The agreement was signed during the Atlantic Council conference on Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation, attended by energy ministers and business representatives from Poland, the United States, Ukraine, and other countries.

Delivery Details

Under the letter of intent, three LNG cargoes will be delivered in the first quarter of 2026. The LNG will be imported by ORLEN to terminals where it holds capacity reservations, regasified, and transmitted via pipeline to Ukraine.

Strategic Implications

This agreement aims to enhance regional energy security and cooperation, with the total gas supply to Ukraine under all contracts reaching nearly one billion cubic meters. The collaboration also supports the expansion of the Northern Corridor.
