EnviTec Biogas Reports Stable H1 2025 Performance Amid Market Challenges

Financial Performance

EnviTec Biogas reported a total output of EUR 164.9 million for H1 2025, a decrease from EUR 181.6 million in H1 2024. Sales revenues also fell to EUR 148.4 million from EUR 179.4 million. EBITDA was EUR 26.3 million, down from EUR 39.6 million, and EBT stood at EUR 10.2 million, compared to EUR 28.6 million in the previous year.

Segment Analysis

The Own Plant Operation segment showed robust performance with revenues of EUR 107.1 million, up from EUR 90.1 million. The Service segment also improved, recording revenues of EUR 26.5 million. However, the Plant Construction segment faced challenges, with sales dropping to EUR 14.8 million due to regulatory uncertainties and project delays.

Strategic Investments

EnviTec completed significant projects in Forst and Friedland, investing around EUR 50 million. The acquisition of LIQVIS GmbH added 18 LNG refuelling stations in Germany and France, enhancing the company's presence in the transport sector.

Future Outlook

The order backlog for Plant Construction was EUR 129.9 million as of June 30, 2025, with a significant portion attributed to international projects. The company expects improved performance in Plant Construction for the remainder of the year, driven by positive demand and capacity trends.
